The new Fjord 40 was designed according to the new Fjord guidelines, which are focused on a top quality production managed by a highly experienced staff combined with a long-standing passion for motor boats.

Hanse yachts has recently acquired the Fjord brand and is strongly determined to respect the trend that has characterized 70 years of success in Fjord shipbuilding.

Designers Patrick Banfield and Jim Wilshire, with over 20 years of design experience at Fjord and in collaboration with the outstanding Hanse design team, were involved in the new Fjord 40 design. Patrick Banfield is much more than a ship architect. Each one of his designs is full of life.

His yachts offer not only the highest degree of comfort but are also renowned for their sophisticated technology, exceptional design, high quality artisanship, and a superb navigation performance.

The new Fjord 40 was designed, out of the passion of Fjord's owners that Banfield's pencil has satisfied and rewarded, as a comfortable cruising yacht with innate seafaring characteristics and ease-of-use.

These yachts embody 150 years of tradition and innovation.
To this day, Moody has lived up to its excellent reputation among experienced sailors. Premier Marinas Limited, Marina Sales’ parent company, has been able to continue this tradition-rich commitment to excellence. Through its relationship with Premier, Moody entered a new era with innovative designs like Bill Dixon’s Moody Eclipse.

Since 2007, another well-established boat manufacturer is continuing the Moody tradition – HanseYachts AG. Already one of the biggest production boat manufacturers worldwide, HanseYachts is now adding deck saloon and centre cockpit yachts to their range of products. HanseYachts has been sharing their know-how and cutting-edge technology with Moody Yachts since the beginning of this year.

The production process for the new Moody 45 uses a “cutting edge” 5-axis milling machine. As a result, the production process is now almost entirely automatic and accurate to the millimetre; and, of course, significantly faster than before.ᅠ Such innovations represent a direct link to time-tested traditions. The brand will be successfully developed further with the help of long-term Moody designer Bill Dixon.

Moody yachts are renowned for sophisticated technology, an outstanding design concept, high-quality workmanship, functionality, and last but not least, impressive performance under sail.
Pacer Yachts is a family business, with Tim Dykins as its CEO. Tim has always been interested in the industry and although he dabbled in boat-building from 2001, he formalised the business in 2005 with the launch of the successful Pacer 42, an all-epoxy light displacement performance yacht which has gone on to prove herself time and again in all kinds of race formats.

2010 see's the Brand, Pacer Yachts, with an ever expanding footprint in Europe, the United Kingdom, and of course locally in South Africa. The Brand now offers a range of products from the very sporty Pacer 27 Sport to the almost complete Pacer 430.

Pacer Yachts as a brand, is all about performance. This is not to say that every design is an all-out racer, rather that our designs carry a performance element and pedigree. To this end, Tim Dykins believes that an effect way of marketing the Brand is through racing.
